Terms of Use for Outpass in ChatGPT & Claude

These terms govern your use of Outpass in ChatGPT and Outpass in Claude (together, the "AI apps"), provided by Outpass (operated by Federico Rodriguez), "we" or "us" below. By using the AI apps you accept these terms. If you also use the Outpass mobile app or the outpass.app website, our general Terms of Service apply to that use.

1. What the AI apps are

The AI apps are an informational service. They let you search and read about multi-day adventures, their departures, destinations and the local agencies that run them, as published on Outpass, and they show you how to contact those agencies. They are read-only: you cannot create an account, book, pay or reserve a place through them.

2. Bookings are made with the agency

  • Any booking, payment, cancellation or change is agreed directly between you and the agency, through the agency's own channel (WhatsApp, website or email).
  • Outpass is not a party to the contract between you and the agency, does not take payments for these trips through the AI apps, and is not the organizer or operator of the trips. The agency is responsible for the trip, its price, its conditions, safety and the services it provides.
  • Read the agency's conditions and confirm every detail with the agency before you pay.

3. Accuracy of the information

  • Adventure details, itineraries, prices and departures are provided by the agencies and can change at any time, including availability and the number of places left. Always confirm them with the agency.
  • Prices are shown in the currency the agency uses. Conversions and filters based on a converted amount (such as "maximum price per person in USD") are approximate.
  • Difficulty levels and trip lengths are guidance, not a guarantee that a trip is right for you. Check fitness, equipment and safety requirements with the agency.
  • The assistant's own replies are written by the AI assistant provider (OpenAI or Anthropic), not by Outpass, and may contain mistakes. The details on the Outpass cards and on the agency's channels take precedence.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, crawl, copy in bulk or systematically extract content through the AI apps;
  • send automated or high-volume requests, or try to get around rate limits or other protections;
  • interfere with, overload, probe or reverse engineer the AI apps or the Outpass API;
  • use the AI apps for any unlawful purpose, or to send spam or misleading messages to agencies;
  • misrepresent your affiliation with Outpass or with an agency.

We may limit, suspend or block access that breaks these rules or puts the service at risk.

5. Third-party services

You use the AI apps inside ChatGPT or Claude, which are governed by the terms and policies of OpenAI and Anthropic. Contact buttons open third-party services (WhatsApp, the agency's website, your email provider) under their own terms. We are not responsible for those services.

6. Intellectual property

The Outpass name, logo, software and the content we create belong to Outpass or its licensors. Adventure content and photos belong to the agencies or their licensors. You may use the information for your own personal, non-commercial trip planning.

7. Disclaimer

The AI apps are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information shown is complete, current or accurate.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Outpass is not liable for: the trips, services, acts or omissions of agencies; decisions you make based on information from the AI apps or from the assistant; or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the AI apps. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

9. Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or discontinue the AI apps, and we may update these terms. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the AI apps after an update means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, and disputes will be heard by the courts of Montevideo, Uruguay, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have where you live.
